Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated: 22 May 2026

Who we are: veoapi.io is an independent API proxy and reseller for Veo. When you send requests through us, your request data is forwarded to the upstream provider to generate a response and is therefore also subject to that provider's privacy practices.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email, and password (stored hashed).
  • Billing data: purchase records and the last four digits of payment methods; full card details are handled by our processor.
  • Usage data: request metadata such as timestamps, model, token/credit counts, and status codes.
  • Request content: the prompts and outputs passing through the proxy, processed to deliver the Service.
  • Technical data: IP address, user agent, and cookies for security and analytics.

2. How we use information

  • To provide and maintain the Service and route your requests;
  • To process payments, manage credits, and prevent fraud;
  • To monitor performance, debug, and enforce limits and our Terms;
  • To send service, security, and support communications.

3. Legal bases

Where applicable (e.g., GDPR), we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where required.

4. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the upstream model provider (to fulfill requests), service providers (hosting, payments, analytics) under contract, and authorities where required by law.

5. Data retention

We retain account and billing records as long as needed for the Service and legal obligations. Request content is retained only as needed to deliver and troubleshoot the Service; deletion can be requested below.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and industry-standard infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material breaches as required.

7. International transfers

Your data, including request content forwarded upstream, may be processed in other countries under appropriate safeguards where required.

8. Your rights

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. Email [email protected] to exercise them.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, and optional analytics cookies. You can control cookies in your browser.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date; material changes get additional notice.
